Abstract

Present era is facing manifold problems on the issue of interfaith dialogue. To make the ongoing interfaith dialogue fruitful people should overcome these hurdles. Islam has the vibrant potential for the improvement of the existing culture of interfaith dialogue. This paper studies the current problems and prospects of interfaith dialogue. It argues that dialogue can be made fruitful through mutual respect and understanding, particularly between Islam and the West. West can play vital role in this regard, as there are much more misconceptions about Islam.
